BAS Program Manager

SALARY: * *$65,799.75 - $72,391.92

LOCATION: Lynnwood, Washington

DESCRIPTION:  

Edmonds College seeks a BAS Program Manager focusing on the BAS in Information Technology Application Development.

Under the direct supervision of the Associate Dean of Workforce and Career Mobility Initiatives, the Program Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing student success and program efficiency at Edmonds College. This position involves managing the entire lifecycle of the Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) program, from  recruitment and application processing to student advising and graduation coordination.

Key responsibilities include working closely with faculty and division deans to improve student retention through an equity-focused approach, overseeing the BAS program application and admissions processes, and supporting the development of community partnerships for practicum opportunities. In addition, the role requires collaboration with BAS Managers to advocate for policy changes and streamline processes, while also collecting and analyzing data to guide decision-making.

The Program Manager will handle complex academic advising tasks, such as transcript evaluations and individualized academic planning, and will collaborate with Financial Aid and Enrollment Services to ensure accurate funding and tuition management. Additionally, the role involves coordinating student recruitment efforts, creating marketing strategies, and participating in outreach activities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Program Management:

Collaboratively communicate with various levels of the institutional hierarchy, including the program's faculty, department head, and/or Dean.

Develop and oversee the BAS program application process, including managing application fees and admissions.

Work with other BAS Managers to advocate for new policies, improve processes, and establish standard procedures.

Collect and track data to inform future decision-making.

Network with community partners to develop and maintain practicum opportunities.

Represent the program at local, college, and state meetings.

Coordinate graduation-related events, including commencement and diploma pick-up, and maintain a student alumni network.

Serve as a backup for other BAS Program Managers as needed.
