SALARY:  * *$28,077 - $29,835/year for a 16 hour per week schedule

LOCATION:Lynnwood, Washington

The Assistant Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will report to the Vice President for Equity, Inclusion and Belonging and champion efforts towards creating a more equitable, inclusive, and diverse environment where all faculty, staff and students feel a sense of belonging and have the opportunity to be successful.

This position would assist the Office of Equity, Inclusion and Belonging with advancing DEI goals, initiatives, activities and communication 

This is an exempt position reporting to the Vice President for Equity, Inclusion and Belonging.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO::

Manage and provide primary coordination for programs aimed at advancing college DEI goals, DEI strategic plan, DEI implementation of state laws, programs, and projects, including but not limited to supporting diversity education, mentoring, and advancement of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). 

Provide leadership on gathering data and working with Institutional Research and the Vice President for Equity, Inclusion and Belonging to develop a website that includes specific DEI data that informs the college about DEI programs and student success.

Work with Men of Color Scholars staff to implement the data gathering plan, support students and assist with implementation of the Takeoff Initiative. Take a small caseload of Men of Color Scholars.

Work with the Vice President for Equity, Inclusion and Belonging to effectively direct, identify  and develop clear, research-based objectives and outcomes for educational DEI programming, including workshops and training to move from awareness to behavioral and cultural transformation.
