Responsibilities

Receiving coordinator will off load pallets from in-bound trucks containing paper, envelopes, and inserts

Pallets are placed onto receiving dock in organized manner

Coordinator will review packing slips provided by trucker and confirm actual counts off loaded to dock match packing slip counts.

Coordinator will sign for packing slip and breakdown the pallets into like items.

Lots of detail with this step – thousands of different stock keeping units( ie Envelope 1234, Prospectus ABCD, White Roll Paper, etc) with unique codes printed on the unit.

Hundreds of different customers – each item must be assigned to the correct client first. 80/20 rule 80% of the time this is straightforward 20% it will take research on PC or phone calls to determine customer.

In addition each stock unit can have a variety of version dates ie Annual Report for Growth Fund could have 4 different classes and version dates

Must be able to cross reference the Stock keeping units on the warehouse management application( we will train how to use this software application) and determine if newly arrived pallet or case has an existing version already in warehouse or a new one needs to be created.

Coordinator enters receiving transaction into PC desktop or hand held scanner ie 4 pallets at 40 cartons per at 500 units per carton

Affix pallet/carton label to product

Move pallet/carton to front of appropriate warehouse rack aisle for storage
