Amazon World Wide Ergonomics team is looking for a talented Program Manager, who will lead our deployments in EU/UK. In this role you will be responsible for creating strategic plans for network deployment delivering engineering solutions targeting the reduction of Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSD) risk.

You will work collaboratively with Workplace Health and Safety Field Operations, Operations, Engineering, PE, ACES and other stakeholders to drive the cutting-edge MSD risk reduction interventions from completion of successful pilot to network roll-out. You must be resourceful and willing to think outside of traditional paradigms, and excel at driving site implementation with assistance from other teams when applicable. You will need to be able to travel to support ensuring the success of deployments in multiple countries and sites (up to approximately 50% of time).

You will engage with cross-disciplinary teams to manage the execution of multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating the development of the validation mechanisms required by the WW Ergonomics Engineering team to support network-wide solution implementation. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed with individual responsibilities within a collaborative peer environment.

You will work across multiple Business Units within the company, helping to coordinate injury prevention, and program related projects specific to the team’s needs and to assuring necessary process steps are planned and executed. You will manage smooth, reliable progress of projects against tight target schedules, ensuring that they not only progress effectively, but measure and report progress to interested stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

• This leader will need to have a fundamental understanding of implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization which can scale. The leader will be able to make and influence tradeoff decisions across those areas in order to optimize for the business. This role will drive solutions across business units. The leader will need to set clear expectations internally and with partner teams and create mechanisms to drive transparency and accountability.

• Be the liaison and key driver between centralized PMO teams, ACES teams and Operational leadership teams to see our risk reduction realized and fully implemented.

• Will oversee the successful implementation and rollout of projects, within Development & Solutions.

• Will develop and execute deployment plans outlining CAR funding, tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies.

• Coordinate training and communication of deployment.

• Identify potential risks and barriers successful to deployment and develop mitigation plan

• Engage stakeholders at various levels to gather requirements provide updates and address concerns.

• Establish quality control measures to ensure that deployed solutions meet specified requirements and standards.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization, innovation, deployment efficiency and effectiveness. Support the sustainability of Aftercare.

About the team

The Global Ergonomics Development Solutions team is dedicated to enhancing workplace safety and health by systematically reducing the risk of MSDs. Our primary objective is to bridge the gap between ergonomics engineering advancements and their practical application across our network. Our team focuses on the critical evaluation and piloting of proposed ergonomic solutions, rigorously testing their effectiveness in real-world settings. We facilitate deployments across entire networks, ensuring a comprehensive approach to ergonomics improvement. Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in program or project management

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • Experience leading process improvements

  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

  • PMP

  • Experience managing accounting/finance process improvement and/or technology projects with aggressive schedules
