Amazon Sr HR Partner, EU ATS in Luxembourg, Luxembourg
Description
The EU ATS HR Partner team is a one year old organization centralizing HR support for about 3000 L3+ operations and corporate employees in EU (and growing!). A key area of focus for the HR Partner is to increase manager capability, enabling them to be more self-sufficient, and driving manager education on important people programs. For this role especially, the focus will be to own high complexity performance management and Employee Relations cases in the UK and also across EU.
Thanks to their visibility across businesses and their access to data on managers’ and employees’ requests, HRPs are in a position to be a proactive partner to the business, spotting trends and identifying emerging needs; addressing them with innovative people programs, tools and processes. HRPs also act as process design experts, to identify opportunities for improvement in people processes and systems, design solutions, and partner across HR functions to drive implementation and adoption.
Key job responsibilities
Advise and support customers (employees, managers and HRBPs) on general HR cases with a focus on: 1) complex performance improvement processes support, both informal and formal, 2) complex and sensitive employee issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Identify training opportunities to further develop functional and leadership skills. This may involve facilitating development sessions, focused on building manager effectiveness and capability.
As the UK SME, you will stay informed about any legislative or Amazon driven updates on policies and inform effectively stakeholders about changes. You could also identify policy opportunities and drive changes yourself. Additionally, an important part of our HRP team's career development is to participate or lead subject matter expert groups, focused on improving key HR processes (such as talent or performance management) across EMEA, or individual project assignments at a country, or regional level.
Basic Qualifications
A degree
Relevant experience in an HR role operating in an international, fast-paced and customer-driven environment
Track record of managing complex employee relations and performance management cases with a positive resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
experience with UK labor laws
stakeholder management
experience in people management.
