Amazon Finance Manager, Private Brands Finance in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Worldwide Amazon Private Brands (APB) Finance team. APB is a global brand portfolio including, but not limited to, Amazon Basics and Amazon Essentials, offering products that our customers love at great value within Hardlines, Consumables and Softlines.
The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical problem solver who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, a collaborative leader to work with a dynamic network of Business and Finance partners, and an innovator to drive continuous improvement and automations in both planning and reporting of P&L's of the APB business across NA, EU and FE. The successful candidate will manage financial planning, reporting, and analyses, will collaborate actively with business and finance partners to develop actionable insights and recommendations aimed at achieving organizational goals and initiatives. They enjoy working with a diverse group of individuals, and have a proven ability to dive deep to solve complex business and finance problems.

Key job responsibilities
Improve the financial models used in planning and reporting.
Enable clear understanding of variance drivers across both revenue and cost lines, and present findings to senior leadership.
Actively collaborate with Finance partners across NA, EU and FE to develop a WW Financial Plan
Partner with business and finance leaders to establish and track performance to plans, goals and initiatives
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or a Bachelor's degree and experience in quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance)
Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles
Experience in accounts receivable or account payable
Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
