As the Business Intelligence Engineer of EU Self Service Registration team, you will dynamically support the data and analytics requirements of cross functional set up of this team responsible to launch and grow new Sellers on the Amazon store. You will create robust reports to measure success and identify friction points throughout the new seller journey. You will develop new models and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of our high value programs. You will improve data access, reporting and visualization by exploring new mechanisms and partnering with other business intelligence teams.

The ideal candidate is agile with strong time management and project management skills. This opportunity requires excellent analytical skills, deep dive, problem-solving, and communication skills. The right candidate is someone who has a passion for invention and remain flexible to change, own critical tasks and keep customer first.

Key job responsibilities

  • Perform root cause analyses, dive deep and share data trends to solve business problems.

  • Create, develop and own metrics and set up relevant tools/processes streamlining data reporting/sharing processes.

  • Identify and manage projects, automation opportunities and growth by working closely with internal and external teams.

  • Envisage and implement technical solutions driving efficiencies in day-to-day analytical tasks.

  • Leverage AWS functionalities and recommend their optimal usage.

A day in the life

You will be working with program managers on set business problems and help them to navigate the required data. You will meet with internal and external stakeholders to take new data project requirements and develop a plan for implementation. You will set up the required coding logic and develop visualizations using QuickSight.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.

  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

  • Experience with SQL

  • Experience in the data/BI space

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift

  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
