Delaware North Seasonal Food and Beverage Manager, Big Meadows Lodge in Luray, Virginia

The Opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a seasonal Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Big Meadows Lodge in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. The salary for this role will cap out at $60K on an annualized basis. Housing is included.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $46100 - $62200 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities

  • Administration of all restaurant, and bar related functions to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Hire, train, and manage an effective team, providing feedback on their job responsibilities and alignment to Delaware North programs.

  • Research and develop new policies, procedures, menus, and control policies that elevate service standards and accountability of staff.

  • Coordinate menus and alcohol compliance and quality standards, handle guest relations and monitor adherence to quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two (2) to three (3) years' experience in a high volume restaurant and/or catering environment with supervising service personnel.

  • Catering and banquet experience is preferred.

  • Experience effectively leading a team required.

  • Ability to communicate through oral and written skills with staff, creating a positive work environment.

  • Ability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
