Community Health Systems Social Worker MSW - PART TIME - Woodland Heights in LUFKIN, Texas
Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k available for Full-Time and Part-Time roles.
The Social Worker (LMSW) interviews clients and their families and coordinates and plans programs and activities to meet their social and emotional needs. Provides crisis intervention and assists families in understanding the implications and complexities of the medical situation and its impact on lifestyle. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a senior case manager. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Education :
- Master’s Degree in Social Work required.
Certifications/Experience:
Minimum of one year experience in a hospital setting with at least two years’ experience in a relevant clinical role preferred.
Active licensure in the State of Texas as a Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker required.
