You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Associate for our dynamic manufacturing team at Lufkin Operations. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing efficient and effective manufacturing processes for Military Specification electronic and electromechanical assemblies.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Associate, you will provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing operators to facilitate production performance. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, documentation, and troubleshooting of automated and manual manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include:
•Providing technical guidance and support to manufacturing operators
•Developing, implementing, documenting, and troubleshooting manufacturing processes
•Utilizing lean manufacturing techniques to reduce costs and improve production yields
•Collaborating with a talented team of engineers and technicians to design and implement efficient and effective manufacturing processes

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance so must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
Ability to provide engineering solutions to medium complexity problems
Must possess good communication skills and the ability to work in team environment
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite Experience in a manufacturing environment Circuit Card or Electronic
Assembly experience Knowledge of Industry standards for solder IPC- J-STD-001
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
