Position Description:
Contributes to the advancement of institutional student success through University life coaching. Exemplifies the expectations of the univeristy. Performs complex personal life coaching, resource identification and referral, professional development, and other training with individuals and programs. Performance is based on individual effectiveness as well as overall program results obtained. The University Life Coaching position is restricted to use within the department of University Coaching and Student Achievement.

Major/Essential Functions:
University Life Coaching (75%) - Provide life coaching to students as defined by the International Coaching Federation and the department. Partner with students to heighten awareness and create new insights that support goal setting, personal growth, and positive behavior modification. Help students achieve goals by identifying and improving upon requisite actions necessary to take control of present behaviors in order to achieve plans.
Plan & Prepare (5%) - Achieve 100 base hours of coaching experience and earn an ACC through the ICF. Actively participate in department and campus meetings as required.
Document (5%) - Professionally document appointment summary notes and other communications as specified by institutional and departmental policies.
Analyze & Report (5%) - Provide weekly check-ins on student progress and coaching load.
Develop & Represent (10%) - Actively and willingly collaborate with campus partners to meet student needs. Refer as appropriate to other departments and student services. Create, refine, and develop presentations offered by the program to campus stakeholders. Assume role of presenter as requested / assigned. Participate in professional development. As assigned, participate in relevant stakeholder meetings.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required plus three years progressively responsible advising, counseling, or coaching experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis. ICF ACC credential must be obtained within one year of hire.
