Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team located in Lubbock, Texas. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity within a dynamic workplace. The primary function of this role will be to focus on balance sheet reconciliations and general accounting tasks as we transition our ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the transition from MS Great Plains to Oracle Genesis software

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of balance sheet accounts

• Utilize MS Excel for various accounting tasks and create Excel formulas as needed

• Prepare and record journal entries in the general ledger

• Oversee the month-end close process

• Utilize Oracle and SAP for various accounting functions

• Use NetSuite to manage and monitor customer accounts

• Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies

• Conduct balance sheet reviews and prepare consolidated balance sheets

• Manage full cycle accounting operations. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.

• Experience with general ledger management and journal entries.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Excel formulas.

• Experience in month-end close procedures.

• Knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP accounting systems.

• Familiarity with balance sheet accounts, balance sheet account reconciliation, and balance sheet reviews.

• Experience with financial reconciliation and accounting entries.

• Understanding of accounting functions, operations, principles, and procedures.

• Proficiency in accounting services and systems.

• Full cycle accounting experience is necessary.

• Familiarity with general accounting practices.

• Experience with Oracle ERP is preferred.

• Proficiency in MS Great Plains Accounting software.
