Major/Essential Functions:
Supervision (15%)
Provide indirect supervision of Residence Life Office Student Assistants
Provide indirect supervision through accountability of student leaders and residence life staff for administrative and related tasks
Communicate effectively with direct supervisors regarding any concerns
Administration (45%)
Prepare, distribute and record minutes for assigned meetings
Process and ensure accuracy of budget paperwork, travel paperwork, and additional administrative responsibilities in assigned areas
Process hiring paperwork, onboarding procedures and maintain up-to-date rosters of staff and student leaders
Conduct associated reference checks, drug tests, background checks and grade checks for assigned staff or student leaders
Support, provide guidance for, and implement the Disney Customer Service model (SERVE TECH & SERVE USH)
Utilize departmental databases and online systems for the management of University Student Housing and Residence Life operations
Communication (20%)
Provide internal and external customer service via the phone, e-mail and in-person
Be knowledgeable of campus resources and refer students, faculty and staff as appropriate
Communicate necessary information to internal and external stakeholders as needed
Ensure accurate reporting and provide follow-up as necessary with student and parent concerns
Departmental and Campus Support (20%)
Support departmental initiatives within Residence Life including but not limited to In-Hall, Academic Initiatives, Recruitment & Training, Social Justice Education, Student Intervention, Student Leadership, and Summer Conferences
Coordinate assigned reports including but not limited to monthly reports, time tracking, etc.
Manage solicitation requests as assigned
Provide administrative support to departmental initiatives as requested
Develop and maintain relationships with all areas of University Student Housing including Housing Services, Administration and Business Services, and Residence Life

Preferred Qualifications:
Desire to work in a highly administrative position; experience working in environments where customer service skills are utilized daily; previous experience working in Residence Life on a college campus or past experience working with college age students in a Higher Education setting preferred.
