Hand in Hand Early Childhood Center After School Site Assistant in Lowville, New York
We are seeking a an After School Site Assistant at Lowville Academy. The ideal candidate will have a passion engaging children with interactive and educational activities.
Responsibilities - Provide supervision and lead age appropriate activities for school age children - Provide nutritional afternoon snack to students - Assist staff in program planning - Utilize various teaching methods to engage students and enhance learning - Adhere to New York State Office of Children and Family Services School Age Regulations.
Requirements - Experience in tutoring, daycare, or childcare settings preferred but not required - 15 hours of child/youth development and related fields within 6 months of hire - First aid certification preferred but not required - Background check, fingerprints & medical clearance
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
