TEKsystems Software Asset Analyst in Lowell, Arkansas

Description:

Job Summary: The Software Asset Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing the software assets of the organization. This role involves tracking software licenses, ensuring compliance, and working closely with various departments to manage software procurement and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Asset Management: Track and manage software assets from acquisition to retirement, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.

License Management: Maintain and coordinate license and maintenance agreement renewals with software owners.

Vendor Management: Partner with key software vendors to manage contracts and relationships, maximizing value and minimizing costs.

Data Management: Develop and maintain repositories and databases for contract and software asset data.

Reporting: Track metrics and create reports to address management requirements and provide insights into software usage and compliance.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline software asset management activities.

This individual will need to help with the following:

  • Action and support software usage, license management, and data management tasks specific to software asset management

  • Reclamation workflows (5-7 processes to automate)

  • Software request fulfillment

  • Analysis of normalization and reconciliation results

  • Customer specific reports (if needed)
