Position Summary

The CI/ Training Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day interactions with employees and management to maintain training compliance, teach operational standards, audit for training compliance and drive continuous improvements in assigned areas. The CI/Training Specialist may have responsibilities including oversight of new associates onboarding and training, site tours, developing & updating training resources and documents, creating training videos, coordination and facilitating training. In addition, this person in this position is responsible to have specialized knowledge, skills and abilities relating to all operations related processes and procedures. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for partnering with the Safety Technician to ensure all production staff stays informed of Safety protocols. Perform training one on one and/or in a group setting. Periodically and objectively evaluate production members skills to track their improvements. Responsible for creating training schedules based on production needs. Proactively partner with production, quality, engineering, front office, and safety departments to improve documented training processes. Improve employee engagement by actively partnering with management and CI Engineer on training programs and Rapid Improvement Events (RIE). Compiles training completion performance metric data and needs analysis. Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities and / or preventable measures for training needs. Work with new hires providing necessary training to make them successful in the manufacturing process. Proactively revises and maintains standard work documentation conformity in IFS. Conduct training sessions as required based on needs. Design, plan, organize and direct new employees' orientation and training for employees Maintain and improve the training procedures, process, and metrics. Collaborate with supervisors and subject matter experts to identify and assess employee training needs. Help maintain training schedules and rotations. Create training materials to support training sessions such as: facilitator guides, participant workbooks, handouts, presentations and visual work instructions. Conduct training workshops on selected topics such as Safety topics, CPR, IFS, etc. Identify and facilitate process improvement projects and training to drive cultural change. Delivers effective Continuous Improvement training courses (NBS Next Training) and programs to help increase team capability and awareness of the Continuous Improvement tools. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Excellent organizational and motivational skills. Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability. Written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and technical procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and other employees of the organization. Good stand-up instruction skills and patience with repetitive action. Ability to use advanced functions in most standard office applications. Functional u derstanding of Outlook, Excel and Word.

Education and Experience Requirements

Associate degree (A.A.) is preferred 3 - 5 years' experience in training, teaching or supervisor experience required. Preferred that candidate possess these skills in a manufacturing environment. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) required. Working knowledge of PowerBI, Forms, Stream and SharePoint applications; use and creation. Manufacturing experience preferred
