Role:You are responsible for:Assisting members and potential members with their telephone and electronic correspondence requestsExplaining services, responding to problems, and directing phone calls to the appropriate areaReferring problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisorProviding applications as requestedProcessing Remote Contact requests in the same fashion as answering and handling telephone requests/issuesIdentifying cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to membersMaintaining action log as required for review monthly/quarterly/annuallyPerforming transactions related to ATM/Debit Card programs including ordering cards and placing blocks per credit union guidelinesProviding information regarding these transactions to members and resolve issues that are within authorityProviding information on remote servicesMaintaining knowledge of all products and services offeredFollowing all security policies and report suspicious activity to managerMaintaining member account information on computer systemAssuring that appropriate records are maintainedWillingly assisting other departments as neededPerforming other duties as assignedTo assist the Credit Union in the achievement of its goals you will:Always make a positive difference in each member's financial lifeProvide the highest quality of service to internal/external membersIdentify members' financial needs and recommending products and services that would meet those needsKnowledge and Skills:Experience: Six months to two years of similar or related experience.Education: Equivalent to a high school education.Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature.Work may involve motivating or influencing others.Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.Other Skills: Good listening and telephone skills.Physical Requirements:WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those anemployee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
