Schneider Electric USA, Inc Solutions Architect, Sustainability Services in Louisville, Kentucky

Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a professional Solutions Architect, Sustainability Services. As a Solutions Architect you will collaborate with internal Schneider Sustainability team members to help accelerate the sales process by assisting with sustainability subjects involved in strategy, technology, and implementation. This role offers the opportunity for internal stakeholder collaboration as well as being customer facing and providing true solutions as a subject matter expert.

What will you do?
Development and structuring of client tailored sustainability service solutions in coordination with lead salesperson and Operations team
Provide added depth and credibility to the sales process by providing in-depth technical knowledge of the Schneider Electric offering
Respond to functional and technical elements of RFI's / RFP's and guide sales resources in the development of industry leading proposals for service
Demonstrate through client examples the value of services and position accordingly through written and verbal presentation
Lead content development of standard proposals, contracts and supporting collateral for Sustainability Services
Consistently support global sales teams at key, defined points in the sales process
Convey customer requirements to business leadership, ensuring that Schneider Electric offerings remain fresh and aligned with evolving marketplace needs
Partner with Sustainability Operations team members in the development of new and thought leading services; package, communicate and position services within the global organization to accelerate sales of new services
Accompany sales team on key sales engagements as required - travel throughout the sales territory where necessary.

What qualifications will make you successful?

Education: Bachelor's degree from accredited college/university or equivalent work experience with 5 years of experience with 2-3 years' experience in the sustainability industry. Proven effectiveness at conducting business conversations in person and with people over the phone at multiple levels of an organization.
Deep understanding of sustainability industry trends, challenges, opportunities
Ability to listen and understand prospect/customer sustainability "pain points", and address those pains by mapping to Schneider Electric strategy, technology, and implementation solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and time management skills
Experience with web research tools and navigation within large organizations
Strong operational foundation with an affinity for client-facing activities; personable and engaging
Thrive in a team-oriented environment
A displayed passion to make a difference
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to handle and resolve complex issues within a team, department and client process.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, BFO/Salesforce and other professional software a plus.
