Job Summary

The Senior Logistics Analyst is responsible for providing field level support for PJFS QCC Transportation Teams in the areas of Systems (routing, ELD’s, dispatch), Dispatch Operations, Training and Department Audits as directed by Sr. Manager, Transportation Systems. Support will primarily be centralized, however on-site support at a QCC will be necessary at times.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

  • Systems Support – will provide support of Fleet systems including TMS routing and ELD tracking at the QCC level to assist, coordinate or recommend system refinement as evidenced by daily usage trends, production changes or service interruptions. Will coordinate Corporate Systems support as needed.

  • Equipment Support – will collaborate with QCCs, vendors and TPL systems leadership on the management of fleet telematics and safety equipment, including inventory levels, removal and install collaboration, and issues tracking and reporting

  • Operations Support – will support QCC transportation teams with operational and seasonal demands, to include identifying and correcting operations deficiencies or failures to adhere to PJFS Transportation procedures, managing holiday route changes, and supporting operations during other seasonal fluctuations.

  • Projects – lead special projects to assess fleet performance and resource utilization, including driver payroll processes, fuel transactions, and annual budget planning.

  • Training – will develop as well as support or manage training initiatives at QCC’s as directed by the Leadership team. These initiatives could include Transportation Management or central resources.

  • Reporting – Provide detailed and thorough analysis and reporting of performance in various areas of the transportation operation

  • Transportation Audits – as directed by the Leadership team will provide support or manage audit of QCC Transportation team adherence to PJFS Transportation Policies and Procedures.

  • Network modeling and analysis – use various optimization systems and strategies to assess territory planning, route and delivery schedules, and fleet equipment utilization
