The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Professional analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions. The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

This roll is within the corporate FP&A team that supports the Enterprise Associate & Business Solutions organization. In these duties our team supports the financial planning life cycle of Humana's real estate portfolio, security, aviation, and some internal HR functions.

The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Professional collects, compiles, verifies, and analyzes financial information so that business partners have accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions on, for example, capital expenditure, divestitures, merger integrations, and/or the natural evolution of Humana's real estate portfolio. Evaluates industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive position. Analyzes expenses, investments, cash flow, and inflation implications. The roll involves financial modeling, reporting and budgeting. Contribute to team and business partner strategy. Autonomously manage business partner relationships and translate their evolving intent into budget and forecast outcomes within the financial planning life cycle. Able to handle moderate to complex tasks and large data sets from directional guidance of goals and intent.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or a related field

  • 5 or more years of related experience with a connection to finance and accounting

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, particularly excel

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong analytic skills with attention to details while using large data sets

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or a related field

  • Experience with EssBase and Hyperion Financial Planning

  • Previous corporate F&PA and/or real estate finance experience

  • Experience with SAS or other relational databases

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Power BI

Additional Information

  • The team is based in the Louisville, KY metro area and works a hybrid model with a partial in office presence at our corporate offices

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$76,800 - $105,800 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
