CVS Health Senior Analyst, Network Relations in Louisville, Kentucky

Position Summary

  • Responsible for timely review, response, tracking, and routing of provider inquiries received via the provider relations department email box.

  • Works closely with both internal and external business partners to ensure provider and member issues are handled timely.

  • May be responsible for review of claims data and information when provider’s inquiry involves claims payment adjudication

  • Responsible for monthly Access and Availability monitoring as required by state regulatory requirements. Staff ensure adherence to business and system requirements of internal customers as it pertains to other provider network management areas.

  • Manage the development of agenda, validates materials, and facilitates reports needed for the external facing Network Mgrs.

  • Reviews/analyzes data by applying job knowledge and experience to ensure appropriate information has been provided.

  • Conducts provider outreach when needed to provider offices to gather information.

  • Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure key provider reimbursement methodologies and provision are administratively supported.

  • Supports or assists with operational activities that may include, but are not limited to, database management, and contract coordination

  • Conducts or participates in special projects and other duties as assigned

  • works all outreach projects via inbound and outbound calls

  • must report to Louisville KY corporate office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday if located within 30 miles of Corporate office location

Required Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of business segment specific codes, products, and terminology related to working with the provider community.

  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, problem resolution and critical thinking skills.

  • Detail-oriented and focused on results.

  • Ability to travel in your assigned region a minimum of 25% of the time.

  • Project Management Skills

  • 1+ years experience with any of the following; provider claims, provider billing, provider scheduling, provider prior authorization requests, or provider network administration

  • proper phone etiquette

  • must reside in KY or within 30 minutes of state line

  • Excel – intermediate skill level (or higher)

  • Proven advanced problem solving, independent worker and self-starter

  • strong presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years' experience with KY Medicaid

  • Experience in Medical Terminology, CPT, ICD-9 codes, etc.

  • positive attitude

Education

Associate's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $91,800.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
