Robert Half Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director in Louisville, Kentucky

Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-experienced Corporate Payroll Manager in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in union and international payroll, with a solid background in managing large teams. They should also be capable of managing the payroll of 1,000+ employees and proficient in using payroll software. The Corporate Payroll Manager holds significant responsibilities in overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, team leadership, payroll tax compliance, and effective coordination with HR and Finance departments of the company.

Job Description:

  • Manage and supervise the payroll team to ensure prompt and accurate payroll processing.

  • Establish and implement payroll policies.

  • Oversee all payroll related tax filings and statements in compliance with international, federal, state, and local legal requirements.

  • Incorporate and manage all payroll for international locations and union payroll.

  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in payroll management.

  • Manage payroll system (preferably Dayforce/ Ceridian system) and ensure timely updates and maintenance.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial position within payroll.

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with international payroll and union payroll.

  • Proven ability to manage payroll for over 1,000+ employees.

  • Proficiency in Dayforce/ Ceridian system preferred.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in payroll-related tax compliance and regulations.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
