Mechanical Repair Technician

Pay Range: $18-21 $500 sign on bonus

Duties include:

• Manual handling of commercial aircraft wheel assemblies (rolling/lifting <35lbs)
• Dismounting of tires from wheel assemblies using pneumatic impact guns and manual torque wrenches.
• Disassembly of wheel half hardware (heat shields, torque tubes, nuts/bolts, etc.)
• Washing of wheel halves and piece parts (preparation for inspection), including loading/unloading of automatic washers and manual pre-scrubbing.
• Surface coating removal (plastic media blasting) On the job training provided Small hand tool experience is preferred.

Preferred

• candidates come from tire service or automotive background.

Job Overview:
