Job Summary:

The Materials Handler will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Process and handle all 'WOBAI' tickets generated by Legacy or PolyFab departments.
  • Assist Fabrication in sourcing auxiliary items: hardware from maintenance shop, machine inserts, installing blinds to structures, etc.
  • Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).
  • Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
  • Return necessary product to stock; finished goods, leftover materials, excess materials, etc.
  • Assist the Shipping and Receiving Department as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good math and written communication skills.
  • Efficient time management skills.
  • Forklift experience.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
