Overview

As the Manager of Operational Processes, you will be responsible to oversee the Queue Escalation process, Ready to bill and collections holds. This position will report to and assist the Director of Operational Processes and Training with assigned projects as needed. This role's scope encompasses driving a variety of benefits for Amerita including improvements to pharmacy operations, and process quality.

This is a remote position. Applicants can reside anywhere in the continental USA.

Responsibilities
    Manage the queue escalation process to ensure patients are managed and worked appropriately
  • Responsible for reviewing all outstanding patient charts for any process issues
  • Monitor all new referrals pending after a certain number of days to identify any delays, gaps, or roadblocks to assist with moving referrals forward
  • Reviews ready to bill and collection holds reports daily and delegates work to queue escalation team to ensure we are billing for services within timely filling guidelines
  • Works with other department leadership in regard to financial documents that are required for billing purposes when working through the RTB reports. (i.e., document management, assignment of benefits, advance beneficiary notices and plan of treatments follow up)
  • Utilize applicable reporting to help identify business problems and or process issues
  • Provides a broad range of consultative services to review pharmacy processes and procedures to ensure they are being followed
  • Strategize methods for increasing productivity, process improvements and enhancements
  • Responsible for all supervisor duties related to Queue Escalation team members including training, coaching and development, time off, scheduling and job assignment
  • Communicates consistently and professionally with other Amerita employees, departments and management teams as needed
  • Completes other tasks and special projects, as needed
  • Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws and professional standards
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years of in the pharmacy field with home infusion and specialty experience
  • Working knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid
  • Advanced knowledge of automated billing systems; experience with CPR+ preferred
  • Working knowledge and application of metric measurements, basic accounting practices, ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a demanding environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and mindfulness
  • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology

Salary Range
USD $68,480.00 - $85,600.00 / Year
