A law firm located in downtown Louisville, Kentucky is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This position reports to two defense attorney's and and two to three associate attorney's who specialize in personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability. This is a ful-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary, 3 weeks of PTO, 100% paid employee health care benefits, 100% paid short term and long term insurance, and 100% paid parking.

salary: $50,000 - $68,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Request and summarize medical and other types of records.

• Prepare materials and exhibits for pleadings, depositions, mediations, and trials.

• Research and work with expert witnesses.

• Work with clients to obtain documents for discovery.

• Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including trial.

• Attention to detail and discretion in dealing with highly sensitive information.
