Position Summary:
The IT Event Support Technician will assist IT staff in supporting clients and employees with various hardware, software, network needs before, during and after events. They will also aid in audio/video setup and running various types of cable.
Essential Functions:• Assist IT staff with event set-up and support in order to meet the needs of clients and internal customers.• Set up audio/video equipment for various private events as well as basketball games.• Assist IT department with IPTV walk through and troubleshooting.• Troubleshoot network issues related to events to determine root cause of the issues.• Run and terminate CAT 5e cables in various areas of the venue.• Test and troubleshoot ISND and POTS lines in order to ensure equipment is functioning as intended.
Requirements:
A minimum of 1 years of related work experience in networking/IT.
Basic knowledge of Cisco networking systems.
Knowledge of MS products and Windows 10 with the ability to learn required business system.
Basic knowledge of audio/video systems.
Must be able to effectively work independently.
Must be able to work night, weekends and some holidays.
