Thisperson naturally thrives in a collaborative environment. The portfolio design coordinator willdive deep into understanding the full building process for multifamily communities. Thisindividual will be able to see physical end results for your day-to-day work and decisionsthrough completed projects. The daily decisions will help shape and influence the designs ofour affordable multifamily housing. This position will best suit an individual that has attentionto detail, is process-oriented, and has an ability to excel at project management.RELATIONSHIPS:The Portfolio Design Coordinator will work closely with the Portfolio Design Manager, Directorof Marketing and Branding Construction site leaders, and Asset Team members daily.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with vendors, construction site leaders, design firms, etc. Responsible for managing the project constraints, and deadlines based on the needs ofthe business. Exhibits proficiency and personal accountability for project performance and meetingproject expectations. Review development requirements for communities per state requirements. Ability to read development plans from construction to finish schedules. Utilizes a variety of communication means daily.Additional responsibilities/tasks within the position's purpose may be assigned. Must also be able to mangemultiple design projects while serving as a resource for the development, construction andarchitectural teams.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree in Project Management or a related field preferred but notrequired. Interior design experience preferred 3-5-year experience in Project Management Must have organizational detail-oriented Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite needed: MS Access, Excel, Word,PowerPoint, and MS Project. Ability to work in a collaborative work environment. Requires interpersonal and effective communication skills Travel requirement - less than 10% Ability to work 8 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday.
