Journeyman Plumber

Job Description

We are looking for experienced plumbers to perform installation construction work. The role involves PVC, cast iron pipe installation, and re-piping existing systems. Our focus is on commercial, warehouse, and industrial customers. This position requires a willingness to work outside in various weather conditions as it involves new construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation of PVC and cast iron pipes.

• Re-pipe existing systems as required.

• Work on commercial, warehouse, and industrial projects.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion.

• Maintain and utilize basic tools (pipewrench, level, tape measure, etc.).

Essential Skills

• Experience with PVC and cast iron pipe installation.

• Experience in re-piping existing systems.

• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.

• Journeyman-level plumbing skills.

• Knowledge of commercial and industrial plumbing standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Journeyman certification preferred.

• Experience in construction and pipefitting.

• Own basic tools (pipewrench, level, tape measure, etc.).

Work Environment

Founded in 1977, our company performs new construction installations for plumbing and HVAC systems. We have grown into a multi-faceted business that also manufactures curbing to support large industrial and commercial units. You will be required to work both inside and outside, depending on the job. The work hours are from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with minimal overtime. Weekend work may occasionally be available. You will need to drive your own vehicle to the job site.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
