Job Description

A client in the Louisville, KY area is looking for a hybrid PACs Administrator for a direct hire opportunity. This candidate will be responsible for managing the operations, system maintenance and quality control activities of the medical imaging and cardiology Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS). They will also be supporting applications such as Powerscribe 360, Powershare, TeraRecon, MagView, EKG, and Cardiology. This candidate will serve as a resource for the PACS applications and act as a consultant for advanced troubleshooting needs along with potentially integrating new applications within PACs by configuring new workstations as needed. Acting as a liaison between clinical departments, vendors, and outside agencies will also be a pivotal part of this role. The goal for this candidate is to enhance the workflow with minimal downtime within the organization. This opportunity has a salary range of $70k-$100k dependent upon years of experience.

Skills and Requirements

3 years of managing and troubleshooting PACS systems

Troubleshooting/Maintenance experience within PACs modalities (CT, PET, MRI) Experience troubleshooting EKG and Cardiology applications.

EKG/Radiology Tech background.

DICOM experience null
