Exciting Remote HMI Engineer!!

Job Description

We are seeking an HMI Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and commissioning of conveyor HMI/SCADA systems for UPS. This role will involve managing the entire project lifecycle, including concept development, design, programming, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), on-site commissioning, and ongoing support. You will collaborate with various engineering disciplines, project management teams, controls engineering teams, electrical engineering teams, and customer groups to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, develop, write, and implement HMI/SCADA/GDU applications (Indusoft, Wonderware)

• Support and/or install software applications, operating systems, and computer and networking equipment

• Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, execution, witnessing, and certification of software

• Participate in site commissioning activities

• Adhere to standard concepts, practices, and procedures

• Plan and coordinate work teams

• Provide technical support to project team members

• Lead and direct the work of others

Essential Skills

• Experience with Aveva Edge

• HMI/SCADA software experience (Factory Talk, FT Optix, Wonderware, Indusoft)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• UPS project experience

• Experience with SCADA, IoT, PLC programming, Python, and VBScript

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
