A non-profit organization located in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking a Director of Community Investment. The Director will supervise a team of Program Officers responsible for managing the impact investment portfolio which prioritizes investment opportunities in underserved communities with the potential for sustainable social or economic change which outlives the initial investment. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-million-dollar financing portfolio comprised of a mixture of investment types including direct and intermediary loans, lines of credit, debt guarantees, and equity investments.

• Supervise staff to convert a portion of pipeline opportunities into financing investments by gathering key information, communicating important details internally and externally, cultivating diverse investee relationships; assessing potential investees; reviewing investee information; and analyzing investment social and financial impacts.

• Lead outreach and development of relationships with new intermediaries and community development partners for deploying new investments.
