Job Title: Machine Design Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a degreed engineer with over 5 years of experience in production machine design. This role requires proficiency in SolidWorks, Inventor or other 3D Modeling Software to design parts, parametric weldments, and assemblies, as well as explode assembly drawings. The ideal candidate will have application knowledge of pneumatic, vacuum, and hydraulic components, and be familiar with AC motors and DC servo motors. You will be tasked with drafting technical documentation to support sales, procurement, production, deployment, and maintenance of new products. Please note that we are specifically looking for candidates with a Machine Design background , not System Design.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Louisville, Kentucky and some days remote.

Work Environment

You will be working in a new office/shop
