Actalent Controls Engineer in Louisville, Kentucky

Job Title: Controls EngineerJob Description

The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our automation processes and equipment. Key responsibilities include designing and developing control systems for new and existing equipment, programming PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), troubleshooting and resolving issues with control systems and equipment, collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate control systems, conducting testing and validation of control systems to ensure performance and reliability, developing and maintaining documentation for control systems including schematics, diagrams, and manuals, and providing technical support and training to maintenance and production teams.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully remote position.

Work Environment

Working remotely out of home office, with experience traveling to different cities in the US and Mexico. Preferred location is in the Midwest region on Eastern Time Zone. Standard hours are M-F 8 AM to 4/5 PM, with flexibility required when traveling. Availability to travel 50% of the time. Per diem $60/per day when traveling, other expenses reimbursed and paid for.
