University of Louisville Clery Act Coordinator III in Louisville, Kentucky

Minimum Requirements:Associate degree and two-years related experience . Degree can be replaced by documented successful study in a related field plus law enforcement experience, or any other relevant combination of education and experience. Grade 4 (Salary ).Position Description:The University of Louisville Department of Public Safety are inviting applicants to apply for the Clery Act Coordinator III position. This position works with the Clery Compliance Team within the University of Louisville Public Safety/ Police Department and coordinates with other departments to ensure compliance with all facets of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and associated regulations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Serve as the records custodian for all Clery Act files and documents in Clery Compliance Toolset, Maxient, and ULPD platforms.Work with public safety to ensure crime incident reports are completed and submitted in a timely manner.Produce monthly Clery statistics in timely manner.Ensures compliance with the Daily Crime and Fire Log requirements. (data entry)Serve as an assistant to the institution’s designated “Campus Safety Survey Administrator,” as the term is explained in the Department of Education correspondence.Assists in the coordination of the institution’s Clery Act Compliance program and the development of the institution’s Clery Compliance policies and procedures.Assists in the preparation, publishing, and distribution of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report to all students and employees.Assist in annual requests for crime statistics to all departments within the University and outside entities.Stay abreast of pending changes to the Clery Act and applicable laws and new regulations to determine the impact on the University, students, staff, and faculty.Assist in the training of key institutional stakeholders on requirements of the Clery Act.Assist in the preparation and submission of the annual crime statistics to the Department of Education through their survey portal, as required.Other duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications:Experience with data analysis and records management, specifically Excel.Knowledge and requirements of the Clery Act and compliance programs in a higher education setting.Knowledge of the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEO) and Higher Education Act (HEA) guidelines, policies, and compliance requirementsKnowledge of the Violence Against Women’s Act (VAWA)Compliance experienceCompetencies:Proficient with Microsoft products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.Organized and ability to track assignments with limited oversight and respond to emails in a timely manner.Team-focused; ability to work well with others and contribute to the overall mission and objectives of the office and university.Target Compensation Maximum:$61,200.00Target Compensation Minimum:$40,800.00Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.Equal Employment OpportunityThe University of Louisville is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer, and is committed to providing employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, sex, age, color, national origin, ethnicity, creed, religion, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity and expression, marital status, pregnancy, or veteran status.
