Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. The role involves handling customer inquiries, processing applications, and maintaining customer records. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions within the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries and ensure they are resolved efficiently

• Process customer credit applications with precision and speed

• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions

• Use skills like Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, and Coding Invoices for the effective completion of tasks

• Conduct data entry tasks and invoice processing with accuracy

• Utilize software tools like Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks

• Be proactive in asking questions and seeking clarifications when required

• Leverage your experience in ERP - Net Suite and Avid Exchange

• Identify and leverage opportunities for growth and improvement within the role.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Check Runs

• Experience in Coding Invoices

• Proven skills in Data Entry

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role is a plus.
