Responsibilities
Manage and oversee full-cycle accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare and analyze financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring all reporting is accurate and timely.
Reconcile and maintain inventory records and collaborate with operations to ensure accuracy, particularly in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Support the development and execution of budgeting and forecasting processes.
Assist with cost analysis and support operational leaders in project costing and job costing activities.
Handle compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and relevant regulations.
Collaborate with external auditors during audits and prepare audit schedules as required.
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to foster growth within the team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in full-cycle accounting, preferably in manufacturing or construction industries.
Strong understanding of job costing, inventory accounting, and project-based financials.
Proficiency in accounting software systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or comparable ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups).
Excellent knowledge of GAAP and best accounting practices.
Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
