The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for the collaborative approach and implementation of an entity specific facility-wide infection prevention and control program. Reports to the entity Director of Quality and Patient Safety Officer.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Plans, develops, implements, administers, and evaluates the Annual Infection Prevention Plan and programs for entity.

  • Ensures all regulatory requirements are continually complied with including the public reporting of hospital acquired infections, reportable diseases, and other data as requested. Develops, implements, and evaluates annual entity Infection Prevention Risk assessments – then facilitates the setting, prioritizing, meeting, and evaluating of aligned infection prevention specific goals.

  • Maintains Hand Hygiene Compliance as a top Infection Prevention goal for the entity with monthly reports to the entity Board through the Quality Reporting Structure.

  • Facilitates and/or supports initiatives to reduce and prevent healthcare-acquired and community-acquired infection.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare-related field
