The Role

We are looking for a Manager, Enterprise Security Technology - Technical Solutions who will be part of the team that oversees Netflix’s enterprise-wide physical security systems. You will focus on the programmatic oversite delivery of Security Technology across the entire enterprise of Netflix business units. In this role, you will need to make technical decisions, and communicate cross-functionally internally and externally while prioritizing and identifying Security Technology needs for Netflix.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high standards regarding system design per baselines, R&D, lab testing, configuration, operations, maintenance and QA/QC
Manage a physical technical security lab environment for the purposes of R&D
Collaborate with business partners in Engineering functions (InfoSec, Data Privacy, Network Engr, Corp Engr) to ensure our systems work well in Netflix’s IT ecosystem
Manage embedded technical vendors, ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely execution of multiple concurrent projects
Support the development of a technology roadmap in alignment with department goals and objectives
Review data privacy and security requirements
Develop and track metrics to capture the impact of the technology baselines.
Collaborate with business partners to develop a project intake process to track security technology impact outside of baselines.
Oversee daily operations, usage, and maintenance of software in partnership with team members who oversee hardware break/fix/maintenance
Build and maintain a software service program to get ahead of (and minimize) system outages; manage KPIs and metrics to ensure system health is tracked appropriately
Ensure the Netflix physical security system keeps up with industry trends
Advise partner team members on technologies to consider for security design & deployments and other verticals regarding security technology capabilities
Clearly communicate program updates and information to the team, stakeholders, and employees
Create all technical instructions for cross-functional teams on best practices of deployed hardware and software
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field with at least 10 years of experience with increasing scope, responsibility, and complexity at a multinational company
Comfortable leading global cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to manage both full-time employees and VARs/vendors
Solid understanding of network architecture and information security principles
Maintain an awareness of global security trends
Entertainment and/or tech industry experience is strongly preferred
Comfortable with a fast pace and constant change
Willingness to run lean with a DIY mentality, take educated risks and think out of the box
Travel regionally and internationally as required (approximately 25%)
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100,000 - $350,000.
