Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Los Gatos, California. This role is in the property management industry where the successful candidate will handle all aspects of accounting including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This role also involves administrative activities such as filing and using Excel and AppFolio ARP system.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of accounting in property management

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries

• Monitor customer credit accounts

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Perform administrative activities including filing

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and AppFolio ARP system for data entry and management. Requirements • Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven experience with Data Entry tasks

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and data management

• Familiarity with general accounting principles and procedures

• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate financial records

• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

• Previous experience in an Accounting Clerk role is advantageous
