Those in rewards and benefits at PwC will specialise in providing comprehensive consulting services related to total rewards, compensation programmes, and employee benefits. You will work closely with clients to analyse their reward and benefits strategies, design competitive and equitable compensation structures, and develop cost-effective and attractive benefits packages.

Your role is crucial in driving business growth, shaping the direction of client engagements, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. As part of the Workforce Consulting team you, you lead the creation and implementation of impactful rewards and benefits strategies. As a Director, you set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making significant decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. You drive business growth, shape client engagements, and mentor the next generation of leaders, fostering an environment where people and technology thrive together.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of rewards and benefits strategies
Set the strategic direction for the team and drive business development
Make impactful decisions and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Maintain and enhance executive-level client relationships
Drive business growth and shape client engagements
Mentor and develop future leaders within the organization
Foster a collaborative environment where people and technology work together
Uphold the firm's standards and ethical guidelines
What You Must Have
Bachelor's Degree
8 years of experience
Demonstrates proven thought leader-level specialty and a track record of success
Sells and leads large scale engagements and manages client accounts in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
Drives relationship with senior client counterparts securing agreement in terms of scope objectives and deliverables and negotiating engagement terms e.g. payment terms expenses and schedule
Manages financial aspects of engagements e.g. invoicing budget and collection
Develops overall engagement frameworks plans and program structure working with client to define resource needs and managing engagement expectations
Develops and sustains client relationships at executive level using networking negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities
Leverages and utilizes the firm's resources and credentials to generate new business opportunities and lead selling efforts
Communicates with presence and influence in both formal and informal settings preparing and presenting persuasive written and verbal communications to executive-level leadership and/or large audiences
Understands market and industry trends in order to develop business initiatives and relationships that help achieve competitive advantage
Leads internal research projects to enhance the firm's intellectual property
Generates vision establishes direction and creates an atmosphere of trust
Leverages diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation
What Sets You Apart
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or PHR or CFP or CFA or CCP or CEP
Master's Degree in Taxation, Human Resources Management, Business Administration/Management, International Business, Economics and Finance, Management, Organizational Management, Accounting & Finance, Mathematics, Public Policy Analysis preferred
Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge and understanding of the structuring of design, regulatory, compliance, financial reporting and technical aspects of compensation arrangements
Possessing knowledge of broad-based Total Rewards, Compensation and Benefits
Possessing knowledge of standard and non-traditional job evaluation methodologies
Possessing knowledge of payroll administration and the payroll life cycle
Possessing knowledge of Equity/Stock based compensation and international treatment
Possessing knowledge of Talent/Job architecture and salary structure
Possessing knowledge of compensation tax, policy research, analysis and working with complex tax issues
Possessing knowledge of compensation and Benefits accounting and valuations
Possessing knowledge of Financial Wellness programs to provide broad based and executive education and guidance on benefit plans and total rewards

The salary range for this position is: $148,000 - $317,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
