Job Description
The Treasury Management Account Manager Leader is responsible for managing a team of sales personnel working to develop new and existing Treasury Management business. The role is a strong opportunity for someone with the ability to hire, develop, lead and hold accountable a team of high performing sales professionals that generate revenue by utilizing solution selling strategies. This role will give someone the opportunity to have frequent client and prospect interaction, as well as a close partnership with market/division leaders. This position will be empowered to use the solution selling model to grow and track the team’s existing portfolio and source new business, as well as achieve annual price x volume production and expense goals.
Major Responsibilities
Drive the Sales Consultants to partner effectively with Relationship Manager’s to grow pipeline, and close business
Provide Treasury Management support and leadership to markets/divisions within their territory
Achieve and maintain assigned pipeline requirements
Set proper expectations, measure results, and communicate rewards and consequences of performance
Engage in frequent coaching sessions to improve overall sales performance
Clearly communicate Account Manager responsibilities with line of business and service partners
Understand current market conditions impacting product and pricing
Coordinate strategy, tactics and sales approach with relationship management and functional partners
Actively ensure compliance with all US Bancorp policies and procedures such as Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, etc.
At times 20% travel may be required
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically, five to ten years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
10 years of financial solutions selling or related experience
Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree preferred
Ability to exercise assertive leadership in markets to drive results
Strong understanding of sales process, solution selling approach, and working capital management practices
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills including presenting to large audiences
Take ownership, implement, and execute TM business strategy
Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions
Proficiency in Treasury Management and Payments Solutions
Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $159,970.00 - $188,200.00 - $207,020.00
