Taco Bell Team Member: Service Champion (CA) in Los Angeles, California

Position Mission: The mission of the Team Member Service Champion is to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for all guests. This role is critical in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing friendly, accurate, and efficient service both in-store and through the drive-thru, while upholding the cleanliness and operational standards of the restaurant.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Extend a friendly greeting to every customer.

  • Accurately take and repeat orders.

  • Handle customer payment with care and integrity

  • Count correct change or process a credit card accurately

  • Meet speed targets for drive-thru service.

  • Triple-check every order for accuracy.

  • Be an expert on the menu and answer customer inquiries.

  • Clean restrooms and dining rooms regularly.

  • Clean and stock the drink and condiment stations.

  • Check the parking lot for trash and ensure it is clean.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for customers.

  • Ability to accurately take and repeat orders.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational skills to ensure cleanliness and order accuracy.

  • Familiarity with the menu to assist customers with inquiries.

  • Understanding of basic cleaning and maintenance practices.

Pay Rate:

Minimum wage varies based on job location and is determine by each locale.

  • California: 20.00-20.25/hourly

  • Los Angeles: 20.00-20.25/hourly

Physical Demands:

  • Withstand temperatures of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or less and 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more.

  • Move throughout the restaurant for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours per day).

  • Move 50 lbs. for distances of up to 10 feet.

  • Balance and move up to 25 lbs. for distances of up to 50 feet.

  • Understand and respond to team members' and guests' requests in a loud environment.

  • Stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

  • Reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

  • Talk or hear; taste or smell.

  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
