Description

We are in need of a Tax Manager to join our team based in Los Angeles, California. This role is part of the financial services industry and is particularly focused on tax strategy and financial advising. This is a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advice on tax strategy and financial planning

• Utilize accounting software systems to accurately process financial data

• Work with ADP - Financial Services for efficient financial operations

• Use CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CCH Sales Tax for various accounting functions

• Ensure compliance with regulations in all accounting functions

• Prepare annual income tax provision and conduct auditing when necessary

• Facilitate entity formation and use Intuit ProSeries for tax-related tasks

• Maintain an accurate record of customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with CaseWare is essential

• Must have used CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax

• Must be capable of handling Accounting Functions

• Experience in Annual Income Tax Provision

• Auditing skills are mandatory

• Must have a strong understanding of Compliance procedures

• Experience in Entity Formation is important

• Proficiency in Intuit ProSeries is required
