The

Hematology/Oncology Finance Office at UCLA Health is excited to offer a paid

internship opportunity for UCLA students interested in pursuing a career in

finance. Our Fund Management team is dedicated to managing funds effectively to

support vital research and initiatives in the field of hematology and oncology.

As an intern, you will have the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience

working alongside experienced fund managers and contributing to meaningful

projects.

UCLA Health hourly salary range for this position is

$17.30 - $25.00.

Qualifications

Required:

• Excellent English writing skills in grammar, spelling and punctuation for all correspondence.

• Excellent English verbal communication skills to interact courteously and effectively with Center staff, faculty, patients and their family and volunteers.

• Ability to convey warmth and caring in interpersonal interactions with patients and families. Ability to feel comfortable working around patients with a cancer diagnosis.

• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work effectively with absolute attention to detail and accuracy.

• Must be a registered UCLA student.

• Strong interest in finance and willingness to learn.

Preferred:

• Currently pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
