Description

The Cognitive Neurophysiology Laboratory is

hiring a summer research associate to perform neurophysiological analyses of

human hippocampal ripples and how they coordinate medial temporal and frontal

cortical neurons in the service of memory. The employee will perform data

analysis, present at lab meetings, and be expected to author a publication on

their research findings.

*Please note, this is a limited position that may convert to career.

Salary Range: $25.75 - $30.71 Hourly

Qualifications

All Required:

• Python computer programming, github, parallel processing on servers

• Background knowledge in neuroscience

• Background knowledge in machine learning and statistics

• Electrophysiology signal processing

• Alignment of disparate streams of neuroscience data recorded at various sampling rates on

• different devices

• Ability to work in-person at UCLA and collaborate with current staff

• Excellent attention to detail for coding, version control, and high-value data storage

• Fluent in English
