Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be part of our dynamic environment, applying your accounting skills to ensure the financial health of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Perform financial transactions on a daily basis, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounting data.

• Oversee the general ledger, conduct balance sheet reconciliations, and analyze the organization's financial status.

• Participate in the preparation and implementation of the annual budget.

• Generate accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in a timely manner.

• Assist with internal and external auditing procedures and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal policies.

• Collaborate with the financial team on annual budget reviews.

• Monitor compliance with relevant laws related to financial management.

• Manage payroll functions to ensure accurate and timely salary payments.

• Foster strong client relationships through positive interactions.

• Use accounting software programs like NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP proficiently. Requirements • Possession of a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of accounting

• Demonstrable proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations

• Experience with General Ledger management

• Capable of performing Journal Entries

• Proven ability to handle Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using NetSuite and Oracle software for accounting tasks

• Experience in using QuickBooks for financial management

• Proficiency in SAP for business process management

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
