We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Real Estate industry, located in Los Angeles, California. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in our team, focusing on data extraction, consolidation, analysis, and preparation for third-party reviews. The role also involves creating master sheets for equity stock grant distribution, auditing data definitions, and contributing to the daily operations of the compensation analytics team.

Responsibilities:

• Extract, organize, and consolidate data from various systems and data sources, including Workday, Shareworks, and Google Sheets.

• Analyze and compile the extracted data into total compensation statements.

• Develop master sheets for equity stock grant distribution for board approval.

• Prepare data for review by a third-party entity.

• Audit data definitions and map data sets accurately.

• Assist in the daily operations of the compensation analytics team, including preparing payroll and equity compensation structures.

• Utilize Excel for data analysis, including the use of vlookups, pivots, and sumifs.

• Leverage Google Sheets, Workday, and Shareworks for efficient data management.

• Utilize strong researching skills to gather and analyze data.

• Understand and implement equity distributions and compensation structures.

• Apply CapEx, Data Mining Techniques, Accounting Functions, Budget Processes, and Expense Reporting skills in daily tasks.

• Utilize Data Analytics, Excel Formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, SUMIFS, Compensation & Benefits, Compensation Analysis, Data Mining, Google Sheets, Financial Statements Consolidation, Statement Consolidation, and Consolidations skills.

• Use Microsoft SQL for advanced database creation and management.

Requirements • Proficient in CapEx planning and analysis

• Expertise in data mining techniques and data analytics

• Strong understanding of accounting functions and financial statements consolidation

• Experience with budget processes and expense reporting

• Advanced skills in Finance and Compensation & Benefits analysis

• Ability to compile and interpret large data sets

• Proficient in Excel formulas including VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, and SUMIFS

• Experience with Google Sheets and Microsoft SQL

• Familiarity with compensation analysis and consolidations

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

• Professional certification such as CFA or CPA is a plus

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the real estate industry

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
