Job Description
This role is field-based and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city.
The ACP Specialty Representative targets, promotes and sells a portfolio of prescription proprietary product for the treatment of Central Precocious Puberty. Primary Call Points consists of Pediatric Endocrinologists and support staff including nurses and office procurement specialists as well as select pediatricians located in either stand-alone office practices or hospital based Pediatric Endocrinology departments.
Responsibilities
Cover a territory which includes the greater Los Angeles area and north up to Santa Barbara and Bakersfield.
Responsible to develop relationships with current and revised/updated clinical call points as warranted to achieve identified franchise objectives
Provide clinical messaging of product portfolio, consultative product service and support, coordinate and integrate product support logistics, as well as other internal personnel and resources to address expressed customer needs
Establish strong business relationships with targeted customer base
Keep abreast of market trends and competitive products/activities as it relates to Pediatric endocrine offices/clinics and Managed Care entities; share knowledge with Area/internal management and other ACP Account Managers
Identify opportunities for business expansion via new therapy starts
Detail key promotional products as determined by Division; tailor information presented to respond to key customer needs and objections
Execute promotional activities and trial placements for target products
Provide education/in-service events for clinical staff for key promotional products as determined by Division
Become and remain a technical expert on AbbVie and comparable competitive products; keep technical knowledge current via certification or self-study programs
Demonstrated Sales success in persuasion, influence, and negotiation skills
Demonstrated analytical skills and Business Acumen
Challenger Selling Behavior skills a plus
Demonstrated ability to apply technical/scientific knowledge to the sales process
Initiative & execution-oriented
Teamwork
Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Construct effective Routing and Reach/Frequency Call Plans
Qualifications
BS/BA Degree. Preferred Education Business Marketing, Science, or other Technical Disciplines (nursing or pharmacy)
Candidates must have a minimum of three to five years of successful field sales experience; pharmaceutical, medical, or related sales.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
Prior medical, biomedical, pharmacy or nursing experience requiring demonstrated application of therapeutic classes to disease states is desirable.
Endocrinology sales experience primary, with secondary hospital-based specialty sales experience highly preferred
Previous proven sales success, award winners preferred

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
