Aerotek Solar O&M Technician in Los Angeles, California

Job Title: Solar O&M Technician

Job Description

As a Solar Technician, you will perform remediation work on existing solar arrays. You will work on commercial rooftops to ensure functionality and adherence to code requirements. Your role will include testing for communication and network connectivity, troubleshooting and repairing systems, updating and installing software, and overseeing RMA handling. You will maintain detailed documentation of your work, develop work scopes for subcontracted repairs, and ensure all materials are tested and recorded properly.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot existing arrays

  • Implement root cause analysis tools for efficiency

  • Perform remediation work as indicated

  • Repair/replace inverters, switchgear and other components

  • Read RMA's

  • Ensure electronic communications are performing accurately

Required Skills

  • O&M tech experience, required

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Solar Technician

  • Experience with SolarEdge, required

  • Current State of California General Electrician certification, a plus

  • Electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to use root cause analysis to work efficiently

Work Environment

You will work on rooftop commercial projects and will be traveling across projects in LA, IE, and OC counties. This role requires working in various outdoor conditions and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of the Greater LA/OC area in California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $57.00
